--- September 18, 2010 --- Went to Watkins Glenn, got the car finished at the last minute, as usual. I went out in the first test session on Friday and promptly stuffed the car into the armco, cold day, cold tires. Front end damage and hurt my ribs some, no big deal. Many thanks to crash recovey team and the Medics that looked after me, they were all first rate. This was my first crash at an SCCA event and I am reminded again why everyone likes the SCCA. Engine ran very good, smooth, great power from 4,000 RPM up. The crash was my fault, pushing it too much on cold tires. We are getting tire warmers for next year, Chicken Hawk Racing I think. http://www.chickenhawkracing.com/products.php
--- August 21, 22 Saturday and Sunday --- We rented a
Mazda this weekend as I need to have a minimum of two races to keep my SCCA
comp. license and our car is still not ready. I rented from RP Performance
304-728-6749, I highly recommend them.
New Engine is in the car now, but,
there is still much to do. We are working toward Watkins Glenn September 18,
19.

I have moved a bunch or
stuff and expanded the Website Page Index, hopefully to make the main page less
cluttered. Brodix has some great Engine parts. The SBC Block can be fitted with 4.180" Bore, 4.250" Stroke (467 cu. in) We are being conservative with 4.125" bore and 4.000" Stroke (427 cu. in.) |
