Ray Shea Superspeedway Modified

This car was built in Virginia by Freeman Treadway for John Blewett Jr. in 1974 for the 1975 season. John never ran the car, he sold it to West Park Auto Wreckers for Joe Severage to drive at Trenton Speedway. Joe ran Trenton in 75 and Bill Osmun drove it at Trenton NJ and Martinsville Va in 1976 and Charlie Glotzbach ran it at Charlotte NC. It was than parked until 1985. It was given to me for my son Michael to race in the Sportsman division in1985 and the new MAD division in 1976. It was returned to West Park and pasted thru several hands but never raced again. I got the car back in 1993 and over that period of time until present have worked on and off to restore it as it was in 1975. It is now about 95% finished. I very close to firing it up and making some music. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
